A series on Kid-friendly tours in Ohio!

I was thinking today that I want to take my kids on some fun tours. Ideas are kind of spread out all over and hard to find. As they say in the movies, “See a need, fill a need!”…
I may be homeschooling next school year and these would be fun and educational field trips, also. For that reason, I’ll be posting these in both the homeschooling and as a sub of family activities.

These are listed in no particular order and will be updated as I find new ones. Each place will have their own post with their address and website listed (if applicable). If they don’t have a website, I’ll be sure to include any contact info I find.
I haven’t visited all of these places, but will include my review if I have and will update with my review if and when we go. Keep in mind, I have a ten-year-old and a six-year-old with special needs (Autism, Sensory Processing Issues, and ADHD) so I can give you reviews for both “typical” and special needs children! As any parent who has a child with special needs knows, there are some kid-friendly places that just aren’t a good fit for special needs for one reason or another and that’s a really good thing to know before you go!

Also, keep in mind that some places may require you schedule ahead (and some may discontinue tours altogether) so I recommend calling and/or checking websites first 🙂

I hope you and your family have tons of fun learning!!
